Adam Rodriguez

Criminal Defense Attorney

Adam Rodriguez spent years telling other people’s stories on live television. Today, he tells them in Idaho courtrooms, where the stakes are someone’s freedom.

Before entering the legal profession, Adam built a career as a news reporter and anchor. He covered everything from the inner workings of the state legislature and city council to breaking natural disasters like wildfires, tornadoes, and floods. That work taught him two things that serve his clients every day: how to take complex, high-pressure situations and make sense of them, and how to stand in front of a room and communicate with clarity and conviction.

Adam earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from Concordia Law School. After completing his legal education, he brought his media training and his work ethic to criminal defense, and he has not looked back. As the leader of the firm’s Boise office, Adam runs a team that prides itself on grinding through the details, showing up prepared, and outworking the other side.

A Mouthpiece for the People

Adam views his role in simple terms. He is a mouthpiece for his clients. He uses his voice, his writing, and his ability to construct a narrative to make sure people who are facing the power of the state have someone in their corner who can tell their story the way it needs to be told. His journalism background gave him a rare skill set for a courtroom lawyer: the ability to distill complex evidence into clear, persuasive arguments that resonate with judges and juries alike.

His approach to defense work is grounded in integrity and constitutional accountability. Adam defines integrity as what you do when you know nobody is watching. That principle shapes every case he takes. He believes the law works best when it is applied fairly and when the state is held to the highest standard of proof. He does not cut corners, and he does not let his clients get railroaded by a system that sometimes values speed over justice.

Straight Talk, No False Promises

One thing Adam will never do is tell a client what they want to hear at the expense of the truth. He provides a clear, realistic roadmap for every case, so his clients understand exactly where they stand at every stage. That kind of honesty builds trust, and trust is the foundation of effective advocacy. When Adam walks into a courtroom, his client knows that every word out of his mouth has been earned through preparation and delivered with purpose.

Outside the Courtroom

Adam is a father of five who chose Boise for the same reason many Idahoans love it: the balance between a growing city and a tight-knit community. When the Idaho summer arrives, he and his family can be found on the Payette River nearly every weekend. He is proud to call Boise home, and that connection to place shows up in the way he fights for the people who live here.
